FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What’s happening?
Friday 6/9: We will have a get together at Aftershock, a classic arcade in downtown Madison. Food and drinks will be served.
Saturday 6/10: Our wedding will be held at the Bur Oak. Please show up at 4 to have a cocktail and appetizers prior to the ceremony itself which will happen at 5. A reception and dancing will follow.
Sunday 6/11: We will be having brunch at Cafe Coda along with music and drinks.
Monday 6/12: This isn’t an official wedding event but for those of you who are still around and are interested, we will be organizing a mellow tubing trip down a lazy river.
Where should I Stay?
We have a room block reserved at The Madison Concourse. Click here for the booking link. We couldn’t include Thursday night (6/8) in the block. Madison seems to be very busy that day. There are rooms available that night at the Concourse, just not for the same rate. There are no events at the hotel itself, so if another accommodation suits your needs better, there’s no reason not to choose your own adventure.
Will there be transportation to any events?
No. We thought about it, but all the venues are in the downtown and Madison is very easy. We decided that you’re all fully capable of getting from point A to point B. The exception is tubing on Monday. We’re renting a party bus for that!
What should I wear?
We don’t care, but if you would like more context: Jenn will be wearing a dress that’s wedding adjacent and Josh will be wearing a suit. Friday night’s get together and Sunday’s brunch are casual.
Where are you registered?
We’re not. There’s nothing we need that we don’t already have. Please come, take lots of pictures, and share them with us. We’ll be setting up a google photo album for that purpose and will give everybody a link to it as we get closer to the event.
